In January 2002 we spent a weekend in Lafayette so I could get in some bicycle rides before a surgery scheduled for the week following. It was cool, but a lot better than back in Michigan. Last year we came for a weekend in mid-February -- and it was not at all suitable for riding. But I'm glad to see you got temperatures in the 40s this week.
